"The Oak Tree Foundation is a non profit company registered with CIPC (2020/025712/08), a non profit organisation registered with Department of Social Development (250-006 NPO) and s18A Public Benefit Organisation. It was founded in the year 2020, during one of the most severe pandemics of the 20th century. During this time a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds came together with a vision of hope for communities that would extend beyond just the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic to dealing with the ever-present issues of poverty and lack of personal development within communities.

With this vision in mind the symbol of the Oak tree and all it's significant traits pointed to what the foundation wants to achieve. To provide shelter in times of distress. To be resolute and immovable....

The Oak Tree foundation will be as resolute as the mighty oak tree against the elements of poverty, social injustice and under-development

Mission

The Oak Tree Foundation is a non profit company existing for the sole purpose of making a positive impact on our society by assisting people to change their lives through empowering and transformative programs that we provide to our community. These programs will allow individuals to identify opportunities that already exist but that have not been accessed with the intention of becoming financially self-sustaining.

By assisting individuals to break free from financial lack, members of the community will be empowered to go beyond their current standards of living thereby creating hope of a better future.
